Map and Tower Routes

Community walkthroughs commonly use colored towers as route anchors and recommend visiting the Red Tower early for the map. That is a third-party navigation route, not an official required order, and this site has not yet reproduced every location or unlock step in the current build.

What official sources establish

The Press Kit supports free-form exploration but does not provide a canonical tower checklist, exact coordinates, or a mandatory color order.

The commonly reported community route

Polygon and GameRant launch guides discuss tower order and connect the Red Tower with obtaining the map. Their practical route is often summarized as starting area or tutorial, Red Bridge and the first key, then Red Tower and map, followed by other towers, the train, and the ending.

A low-spoiler tower plan

  • Finish the opening setup and agree on a landmark naming system.
  • If the group wants early navigation help, investigate the community-reported Red Bridge to Red Tower route.
  • Use tower colors plus a nearby landscape feature in callouts; color alone can be ambiguous at distance.
  • Choose one next tower and one fallback meeting point before the group spreads out.
  • Return to the walkthrough hub before moving into train or ending spoilers.

Claims that still need hands-on verification

  • Exact tower count and every tower's location.
  • Required item quantities and interaction sequence.
  • Whether map acquisition can occur through another route or state.
  • Host-versus-guest progression behavior at each tower.
  • Reset conditions, completion time, rewards, and any version-specific changes.

How to record a reproducible route

  • Record the game version, host platform, world-size choice, and party size.
  • Name the starting landmark and each tower color in order.
  • Note whether the observer was the host or a guest and whether the relevant interaction was already complete.
  • Capture the route before and after a progress change rather than relying on one screenshot.
  • Mark the result verified only after a second run reaches the same state.

When a guide does not match your world

  • Check the article date and your game version.
  • Confirm you are comparing the same tower color and host progression state.
  • Regroup before repeating or abandoning an interaction.
  • Use challenge skipping only through the host's pre-session accessibility setting when the group needs it.
  • Treat a persistent mismatch as unverified until current-build testing or an official update explains it.
